The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS DBA to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about database management, system performance optimization, and high availability solutions. You will be responsible for managing Oracle EBS environments, performing upgrades, ensuring data integrity, and implementing disaster recovery strategies.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Oracle EBS & Database Management

• Administer and maintain Oracle EBS and database environments to ensure system stability.
• Perform EBS and database upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Monitor database performance and apply tuning techniques.

✅ Security, Backup & Recovery

• Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and replication strategies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production-related database issues.
• Apply security patches and updates as needed.

✅ Disaster Recovery & High Availability

• Design, implement, and test disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure database high availability for mission-critical applications.

✅ Technical Support & Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
• Utilize Oracle APPS DBA toolset for system administration and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation for database policies, procedures, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

✔ Experience: Prior experience as an EBS DBA with hands-on knowledge of Oracle EBS environments.
✔ Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Oracle databases, performance tuning, replication, and backup/recovery strategies.
✔ Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex database issues effectively.
✔ Attention to Detail: Precision in database management, patching, and compliance.
✔ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for effective collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
📜 Oracle EBS Certification (preferred).
📊 Familiarity with reporting tools and database monitoring.
